Ladyswell C who had recently played a decent 2 v 2 draw against AIB in Damastown, so manager Kevin Caulfield was surprised to see his side playing AIB again. Ladyswell C have had a point to prove in recent weeks as they are finding it difficult in their first season in the Leinster Football League and are yet to pick up their first win.

Ladyswell started brightly in a damp DCU sports ground and had the home side on the back foot. Manager Caulfield felt the side should have been 1 up late on in the first half but admitted a draw may have been a fair result but it was the Bankers who once again hit the tax payers for one more late on with the winning goal in the 86th minute. Leaving very little time for the away side to get back into the game.
