Saturday Sheeran Round Up

November 13th
-
York Road 10 v 4 Ladyswell B
-
Ladyswell manager Mick Loftus found himself without a number of key players and once again found himself on the match card. Despite this his charges who had been on a high after picking up a 1 v 0 victory in the first Ladyswell derby the previous weekend. The away side were at one stage 3 v 1 down but once again their battling spirit seen them catch the home side and overtake them to be in the lead 4 v 3 with John Cunningham getting his first goal of the season.
-
The joy stopped there for Ladyswell as York Road re-took the lead and with that Mick decided to take a chance and go three at the back only to find that his side became slightly exposed and some crucial decisions were seen to have gone against the away side. York Road were flattered by the final scoreline as Ladyswell found they were unlucky.

Ladyswell C 0 V 4 Rialto
-
Ladyswell C manager Kevin Caulfield who is out with an injury left the rains in the capable hands of Paulie and Stewart. Although of late Ladyswell C are finding it difficult to find there feet and a travelling Rialto were not in the humour to allow them the luxury. Despite some superb work in the first half from Robert Kelly up top Ladyswell could not find the target and paid the price as they went into the break 2 v 0 down. The second half seen the home side try push on but they just could not find an illusive goal but the Rialto side finished off the game with two second half goals.

November 20th
Ladyswell 1 v 3 Yellowstone
-
Ladyswell welcomed an in form Yellowstone to a wet and muddy Damastown. Once again Mick Loftus would be without some key players but would still put a good side out. Ladyswell have not been able to find winning ways in the Sheeran and with only one game to go the focus will be back on the league and the move up the table. Ladyswell's David Farrell would score the home sides only goal in a decent game of football that would see another number of good performances. The home side may well feel they deserved something but were slightly unlucky.

Man of the Match
Shane Smith
-
Ladyswell C 0 v 4 Smithfield
-
Ladyswell would face Smithfield and would play them on a watery pitch although the home side started brightly it was an individual error which seen them lose parity and shortly after as Ladyswell began pushing forward they found themselves two down and the game would now see the home side having to continuously pushing forward with Robert Kelly and Peter Flynn causing problems up top.
-
The second half would see Ladyswell attack but as the game went on the home side would see the game put beyond them as Smithfield got the third goal and Subsequently the fourth that would seal the game.
